"What's Updog?" is an official episode of Game Grumps Animated by Oryozema. It uses audio from the The Goonies II episode "Punching Elders".
The Animation[]
Danny becomes forgetful of what to do in The Goonies II. Arin asks “Is it updog?” hoping for a response. However, Dan immediately figures out what to do and gets the glasses. Arin repeatedly asks Dan about updog, but Dan eventually just says “I don’t know what updog is.” Eventually he says “What is updog?” to Arin’s delight. He immediately realizes what was going on and facepalms at his own ignorance. Arin laughs uncontrollably, which eventually brings Dan to do the same. During this bit, the scene changes to Dan and Arin doing various, out-of-context things in sync with their laughing. Arin explains how he had never gotten the joke to work in his life as the camera flashes back to various moments of his life, such as when he got married with Suzy. The camera cuts back to the present day where Arin is shaking Dan's hands in excitement. The scene changes to Dan hugging an abnormally large dog on a space background, repeating his earlier question: "What is updog?" and Arin boxing and punching an opponent as he laughs. Arin eventually stops laughing to cough as Dan says "Aw, well I hope you are proud. You certainly seem to be."
