"Mellow Grumps" is the fifty-fourth episode of Sonic '06.

 Intro[]

"I have to get back to where we were..." "What?" "This fuckin' long-ass campaign." "(farts)" (both laugh) "Have you every played Chrono Trigger?" "Yeah, did it sound like one of the enemies?" "It sounded like fuckin' Lavos!" -JonTron and Egoraptor

Outro[]

"Next time on- huh?" "No, go ahead." "Next time on Game Grumps." "Was that what you were going to say?" "Yeah, sheep are going to be sloutered (slaughtered)." "On the next episode?" "Well, somewhere in the world. Think about that before you eat your next bit of FUCKIN' LAMB!" "I probably won't be here for that then." "Are a lamb and a sheep the same bullshit? I actually don't know." "It's a baby." "Oh, god..." "It's a baby." -JonTron and Egoraptor

Quotes[]

Jon: "RADICAL! I love when the fucking combo meter comes up, I love when the combo meter comes up. Why does the combo meter come up?"

Arin: "Presumably because hit a combo."

Jon: "But I mean, like, it never comes up. It's like, it's almost as if it's not there, then all of the sudden it comes up like 'RADICAL' and you're like, 'Fadical.'"

Discussion[]

The intro begins with Arin being unaware of them being recorded. Jon farts, and Arin compares the sound of his fart to the final boss in Chrono Trigger. After discussing Chrono Trigger, Arin realizes that they are recording, much to his surprise. The Grumps talk about the Metroid series, and their opinions on Super Metroid and Metroid Fusion; Jon suggests that they play the former, a suggestion that was agreed by Arin.

They also discuss their opinions on Turn-based games, random enemy encounters and games heavily driven by talking.

Trivia[]

  • This episode refers to a game played as a later series: Super Metroid, played by Arin and Danny.
